Great hotel by the Gare de Lyon
The room was on the 12th floor and was comfortable and well furnished. It was ideal for one person. There were great views over Paris from the window at the end of the corridor. . Excellent breakfast with a wide selection. The staff were very helpful and they talked me through the checking in process on arrival. The check in is done by the guest using an iPad. Checking out was very quick and easy. The hotel is right by the Gare de Lyon and is close to the Seine and the Ile St Louis and Ile de la Cite.

A great choice for the solo traveller.
The location is excellent, easy to walk from for your sightseeing experience. The train station is also 2mins walk and it is an excellent place to start your journey. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are excellent, you can be assured of a good night.
A few more amenities will be good, such as bath room slippers. I could not access my preferred news station, this was a bit frustrating because it was listed on the iPad.
